How booking works
From the free call to the first day of work: what happens, in order, and how to change your mind.
From enquiry to start
- You book the free discovery call through Laura's booking form. It is free, and there is nothing to buy.
- Laura replies to arrange the call.
- The call. You talk through what you need and which help fits.
- A written plan. What Laura will do, the price, and when.
- A start date. Every booking is confirmed by email before any work starts.
Paying
How and when you pay is set out in the written plan, before you agree.
Changing your mind
Booked services not tied to a date (monthly hours, one-off fixes, sessions, visits outside a seasonal booking, design and social work, set-ups): you have 14 days to change your mind after booking. Work starts inside those 14 days only if you ask for it to; if you then cancel, you pay for the part already done. If you ask for work to start inside the 14 days and agree that you lose the right to cancel once it is finished, you can no longer cancel after the work is complete. A model cancellation form comes with the written plan, before you agree to go ahead. To cancel, tell Laura clearly through her contact form, Instagram or LinkedIn. You can use the model cancellation form, but you do not have to.
Downloads (printables and app packs): you can cancel within 14 days, unless you ask to download straight away and agree at checkout that you lose that right.
Dated workshops, events and seasonal visits: you have 14 days to change your mind after booking.
For work in your home, the booking details and the model cancellation form come with the written plan, before you agree to go ahead, on paper or, if you agree, on another durable medium; an early start is asked for in the same way.
Complaints
If something is not right, tell Laura the same way.
