What a Celebration Plan hands you

A shortlist to book from, and a run sheet for whoever runs the day. Laura plans it with you; on the day, whoever you book runs it.

Home, a celebration planned

A shortlist to book from

Three venues and three kinds of supplier, each with what to ask. Tick each one once you have booked it.

Venues

  • A barn with its own garden

Room for everyone, and outside space if the day is fine.

    • Is the date free, and how long will they hold it?
    • What comes with it: tables, chairs, linen?
  • A function room in a town hotel

Easy for guests who want to stay over.

    • What is the latest finish, and is there a noise limit?
    • Is there step-free access throughout?
  • A village hall with a kitchen

Simple, and yours for the whole day.

    • Who opens up and locks up?
    • Can a food supplier use the kitchen?

Suppliers

  • Food and drink

Two to compare, both used to this size of party.

    • Can they cover every dietary need on the guest list?
    • Do they bring people to serve and clear?
  • A photographer

For the moments you will want to keep.

    • How many hours, and when do the photos arrive?
    • Would a list of must-have shots help?
  • Music

A band or a playlist, to suit the room.

    • How much space and power do they need?
    • Can they play quietly through the meal?

You book and pay each one direct. Laura plans the celebration and is not there on the day, so whoever runs it is someone you book too.
