Accessibility
How this site works for different access needs, what does not work yet, and how to tell Laura.
What should work for you
- Every link, button and panel works from the keyboard.
- You can always see where the keyboard focus is.
- Text resizes to 200 percent without anything being lost.
- A light theme and a dark theme, from the switch in the menu or from your device's own setting.
- With your device's reduce-motion setting on, nothing moves, and every step shows laid out on the page.
- Nothing moves on its own for more than five seconds.
What does not work yet
- The orange string that runs down each page is decoration. It is hidden from screen readers, so it carries no meaning of its own.
- The app screens on the Gift Trix page are pictures of a planned app. Each has a written description, but none of them can be used.
- The site has been tested in Chromium. Safari, Firefox and Edge have been checked by reading the code, not yet on the devices themselves.
