What happens next

From your first message to the start

First

Your message

Send the short form on her Linktree. A line or two is plenty: what brought you, and what is not running smoothly yet.

Example: a first message

About: Start-ups

I opened a small candle shop in March. Bookings come in by text and email, and I lose track of who has paid.

Then

Her reply

Laura replies to find a time for the call. Have a few things to hand, so the call goes straight to what matters.

Example: what to have ready

  • The date your business started, or your event's date
  • What is not running smoothly yet
  • The part of her work you think fits
  • Any doubt the Questions page has not answered

The call

Free, with Laura herself

You talk it through together. If you want to go ahead, you agree with her on the call what she will do and when it starts.

Example: what the call covers

  1. What is not running smoothly yet
  2. Which package fits
  3. What it costs in full, and what you buy direct
  4. A start date, if you want one

The start

Confirmed, then begun

Laura confirms every booking by email before any work starts. Work starts after that confirmation, on the date you agree. If you book as a consumer, work starts inside your 14 days to change your mind if you ask for it, and not otherwise: see your right to change your mind.

Example: a booking confirmed

A plain phone lying face down on an oak table beside an open notebook with a brass pen across it.
A small round oak table by a window, two stoneware cups of tea set across from each other with an open notebook between them.
Plain ivory cards laid out in one neat row on natural linen, seen from above.
A fresh planner open on its first week on an oak desk, one small orange tab at the page's edge and a brass pen beside it, in low morning light.

Before you book

Your right to change your mind

If you book as a consumer, you can change your mind up to 14 days after the day you agree the package. Work starts inside those 14 days only if you ask for it; if you then cancel, you pay for the work already done, in proportion. If you ask for work to start inside the 14 days and agree that you lose the right to cancel once it is finished, you can no longer cancel after the work is complete. A business that is not trading yet is treated as a consumer here.

To cancel, tell Laura clearly through her booking form, Instagram or LinkedIn. You can use the model cancellation form, but you do not have to.
